This braidout was done after a co-wash. I applied Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner and Herbal Essenses Long Term Relationship. After applying the products I only put two braids in my hair to get this curl pattern. The more braids you put the smaller the pattern will be. To make a braidout last, you can re-braid at night or you can do the Pineapple Method. If you try this style let me know, I would love to see the results! :))

F.A.Q's/ My Current Hair Regimen
- How often do you get relaxers?
- I get relaxers every 12 to 13 weeks, but I am currently trying to stretch longer.
- How long have you been relaxed?
- I have been relaxed since I was 13. I am currently 22.
- What relaxer do you use?
- I use Design Essentials.
- Do you do your own relaxers?
- No, I go to a stylist to get relaxers.
- How often do you get hair trims?
- I get hair trims only when I need them, sometime that is when I get a relaxer and sometimes it's not.
- How often do you shampoo your hair?
- I shampoo my hair once a month.
- Why do you shampoo only once a month?
- The reason that I shampoo once a month is because shampoo can be very drying to relaxed hair. Instead of shampooing so often, I co-wash once a week.
- What is co-washing and what is the point of it?
- Co-washing is when you only wash your hair with conditioner. The reason for co-washing to help moisture in your hair. Moisture is key to hair healthy hair growth.
- What else do you do to help keep moisture in your hair?
- I also deep condition once a week and I moisturize and seal daily.
- So what products are currently in your hair regimen?
- I currently use Design Essentials shampoo and conditioner. For deep conditioning I use Organic Roots Stimulator Olive Oil Conditioner. My current daily moisturizer is Elasta QP Olive Oil and Mango Butter moisturizer.
- What oils do you use to seal your moisturizer?
- I use Olive Oil and Grapeseed Oil.
- How do you wear your hair on a daily basis?
- I mainly wear my hair in protective styles such as buns, braid-outs, or twist-outs.
- Do you have any favorite hair gurus?
- Yes, some of my favorite hair gurus are ulovemegz, thehappyhairshow, and KiSSseventyseven from YouTube.

I'm starting this blog to keep a record of my healthy hair journey. I have been on a healthy hair journey since January 2012. So far everything has been great and I have been seeing tremendous growth. My hair is currently relaxed and Mid Back Length. My goal is to be Waist Length. On this blog I will be doing product reviews, recording length checks, and showing different hairstyles that my relaxed haired sisters can try!! :))
